The Kiwifotos Lens Plates are ergonomically shaped and very precisely manufactured from solid aluminum alloy. The lens plates provides a stable base for continued shooting. The plates are anodized to an scratch-resistant black satin finish. And the screws are made of high quality stainless steel. You have a large / long lens plate require a longer lens. 

The Kiwifotos KF-138 lens plate is designed to take the place of the original tripod collar foot of a Nikon 400mm f/2.8 AF-S (I and II) & 600mm AF-S II and VR lenses, and to convert the collar to make it directly compatible with Arca-type quick release clamps, without the need for additional quick release plates. Each adapter comes complete with all the necessary hardware and tools to make the conversion.
