The Kiwifotos Lens Plates are ergonomically shaped and very precisely manufactured from solid aluminum alloy. The lens plates provides a stable base for continued shooting. The plates are anodized to an scratch-resistant black satin finish. And the screws are made of high quality stainless steel. You have a large / long lens plate require a longer lens. 

The KF-140 lens plate is designed to take the place of the original tripod collar foot of a Nikon 500mm f/4 AF-S (I & II) or 200-400 f/4 AF-S VR lens, and to convert the collar to make it directly compatible with Arca-type quick release clamps, without the need for additional quick release plates. The foot is 0.875" shorter then the original Nikon foot, which helps to lower its center of gravity. Critical mass is also reduced, but the original Nikon design is still maintained, which allows it to still be used as a carrying handle.
