For PowerShot G3 X, the hood can be placed backwards directly, while for Canon SX70 HS / SX60 HS / SX50 HS / SX40 HS / SX30 IS / SX20 IS / SX530 HS / SX520 HS, you need to turn on your camera and let the lens extend to place the hood backwards. JJC LH-JDC100 lens hood replaces Canon LH-DC100 & FA-DC67B.
