Use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode, or stopped down-AE Manual Metering and adjust the aperture on the lens. Although it is possible to use AV mode in auto exposure, the aperture display is not available. Select MF assist function to focus accurately (7x or 14x zoom focus). It is also available to Infinite focus.
