JJC AV2LANC adapter cable allows you to convert JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller to a controller with a A/V terminal. Thus you can continue use the original JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 to SONY Handycams that has an A/V Remote terminal instead of LANC input. Just plug the JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller into the 2.5" mini female end of the adapter cable, then insert the other end of the adapter into your SONY camcorder's A/V remote terminal.
