It allows you to attach the JJC LED-48IO/LR or JJC LED-60 macro ring LED light to your lens front for macro photography. Just screw the adapter ring into the filter thread of your lens and then slide the LED light JJC LED-48IO/LR or JJC LED-60 on it, it will help you secure the LEDs tightly.
