The JJC JF-G1P/JF-G2P Wireless Flash Trigger & Remote Control is a versatile, reliable remote control kit that will trigger off-camera flash units and studio lights from up to 300 feet away. The JF-G1P,G2P also provides the convenience of a wireless camera shutter release, ideal for photographing wildlife, and also for macro and close-up photos or long exposures, where the slightest camera movement can ruin a picture. Working on the 2.4GHz frequency gives you reduced radio interference and an extended range (up to 320' (100 m)) - you don't need to have line-of-sight alignment, either, as radio waves will pass through walls, windows and floors. Function: Note!
Managed to get my units connected, but the flashes only go off when I take them off the hot shoe. Both are in manual mode. What am I doing wrong?Nick JJC: Dear customer, could you leave your email address on our website, so we can know of more details and get better solution to this problem? Thanks! I´d like to use my JF-G2P with my Fuji X-T1 and my Fuji X-E2 and with either Fuji Flashes ( EF-x20 ) or my Nikon Flashes (SB 900). Do I need any cables to connect them. I tried the JF2GP with my Fuji X-E2 and an Fuji Flash (EF-x20 ). I was able to fire the flash with the test button, but it did not flash using the camera.Peter Pickel JJC: Hi Peter
The JF-G2P has three main functions:
1. Used as a Wireless Flash Trigger
2.Used as a Wireless Remote Control
3.Used as a Shutter Release Cable Switch
The first function requires no connecting cables. And the second and the third function both require a connecting cable. The connecting cable compatible with Fujifilm X-T1 and X-E2 is JJC CABLE-R.
You said the flash was fired with the test button, so please make sure the hot shoe parts of the transmitter and the camera have been attached well.
