Solid metal design made of brass, anodized aluminum the KIWIFOTOS Contax G-EM mount adapter allows Contax G lens to fit on Sony E-Mount NEX Camera Body (NEX3/NEX5 etc.). The lens will fit physically, auto-focusing control and camera modes which control exposure by automatically adjusting aperture are not retained, however. Use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode (M), or in the aperture priority (A) mode and select MF assist function to focus accurately (7x or 14x zoom focus). The adapter is designed with a 360 degree focusing ring in the round side allows the lens to focus precisely.

Note: Some of the Contax G lenses, i.e., 16mm, 21mm, 28mm, and 35-70mm zoom, have big protruding rear element, preventing the lens to be mount on NEX body.
