Fine finishing, made of black anodized aluminum (camera body mount) and brass silver (lens mount). The adapter allows Leica M mount lens (made by Leica, Konica, Voigtlander, and others) to be used on any Sony E-Mount NEX camera body. Since there is no electronic communication between the Leica M lens and the Sony E-mount camera body, auto focus will not be available. Use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode (M), or in the aperture priority (A) mode and select MF assist function to focus accurately (7x or 14x zoom focus).

Note: 99% or more of all Leica mount M lenses are probably compatible with the adapter and camera.
